Dear reader,
I was born on April 7th, 1995 in Cali, Colombia. I came to the United States an early age, and have resided here for the past 15 years. I graduated from Central High School this past June, and I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. I’m highly interested in the field of engineering for a number of reasons. From an early age, I have questioned a plane’s ability to fly, and a boat’s ability to float. All the mechanisms and contraptions that go into today’s transportation are something I’m interested in. A future goal of mine is to become a philanthropist and be able to help children in my native land.
David Bonet Mechanical Engineering |
Hello ENGR-103 Class, I am David. I am a mechanical engineering major and I love Jesus. I chose mechanical engineering because I loved how it is possible to have so many different ways for transportation and how necessary it is in today’s world. I am also interested in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and insulation technology. Efficient transportation is the main goal I am wanting to understand and learn, and I do know that Drexel offers some Fluid Dynamics courses that make cars more and more efficient.
If I were to take a minor, it would be in environmental engineering. This is because I am also interested in renewable energies such as solar, wind, and even algae biofuels. In fact, algae can even be used in waste management and in the end of its life be used as a biofuel! In response to all these great technologies, I would absolutely love to incorporate all these innovations to make a truly sustainable vehicle.
Aside from my studies at Drexel, I enjoy learning more about computing and playing video games. I also love to cycle and swim and play the drums. I also enjoy doing things such as optimizing old/slow computers and playing chess and ping-pong.
In concluding my small biography, I am very happy to be taking this ENGR-103 course, as I do remember when my family and I would travel, the plants had a possibility of dehydrating. I also used to grow small plants such as fenugreek, tangerines, and pigweed for fun. I enjoyed watching these plants grow, and seeing that our group will be creating a completely automated plant feeder is a project worth doing and enjoying!

Christian Lesenskyj Mechanical Engineering |
I was born in Trenton, New Jersey on December 14, 1994. Attended Robbinsville High School where I played varsity soccer and was an active member in National Honor Society. My passion for mechanical engineering started at a young age. The main influence was from my father who is also a mechanical engineer. My father owns an injection molding and tool making business, where I worked part-time during my summers off from school. I hope to grow my father’s business and expand it to an international level.
Pu Wang
Material Science and Engineering
I am Pu Wang, I come from China. I was a computer science student, but I changed my major to material science after I found that computer science is not suited for me. I worked for a fire safety product company during 2013 winter vacation. I love creating things and analyzing questions. I am looking forward to having a vision of my college life.
